    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mesfly snapped these images during a brief stopover in Tbilisi in April 2011. "I was only there for one day and I tried to make the most of it by walking around the city," she says. “I feel these photos represent how I saw the country of Georgia through the eyes of someone seeing it for the first time."

    These pictures were mostly taken throughout the city streets of Tbilisi. It was interesting to see the old architecture next to the new. When I was there, I saw many construction sites, so I can only imagine how the city will look in a few years.
