    Election Day in Greece

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     kposeidon says the debt crisis is affecting everyone in Greece, and even if the crisis is not a direct impact on people's personal finances there is a level of uncertainty and pessimism weighing down on Greeks. She captured this iReport on June 17, the day of the Greek elections. She says there is no particular candidate that she sees with a solution to the debt crisis. 'don't think there is any candidate or party that offers a perfect solution, but I think the best way for Greece to avoid falling further into despair is to remain within Europe, so I'm wary of the parties that aren't entirely committed to Europe, even if this will bring more pain for us in the short term,' she says.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Greeks are making their way to the polls today in the hopes of electing a government that will stop the downward confusing spiral Greece seems to be stuck in. Few people seem optimistic that the elections will bring a new and brighter future - most are simply hoping that things won't get any worse.
