CNN PRODUCER NOTE     tonyperri shares this video report of the seventh annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition in Imperial Beach, California. The event took place on June 16, 2012. "People were thrilled to see dogs surf. They were very audible, cheering on the pups and giving them encouragement." He says this year's event broke a grand total of three Guinness Book of World Records. "Everyone cheered loudly when the world record was set for most dogs surfing on one surfboard." It took a grand total of 14 dogs to break the record.

I live in Coronado, CA and ventured to the next town of Imperial Beach on Father's Day Weekend for the 2012 Surf Dog Championships. Little did I know that three Guinness World Records would be set that morning - for the most dogs to surf on a single board.

My TV and film career includes being a producer, director and broadcast journalist for the Walt Disney Company, Warner Bros., KPIX-TV (CBS), Princess Cruises, Paramount PIctures, SONY, KREX-TV (NBC), KFTY-TV (IND) and Boulder Educational TV.

My recent feature film is SEROTONIN RISING which stars the DALAI LAMA and DEEPAK CHOPRA.  The movie is about how doing good deeds for others will raise your serotonin levels and strengthen the immune system.

SCHOOL OF THOUGHT is my latest documentary.  That film stars DAVID LYNCH and PAUL McCARTNEY.  It's about how meditiation in schools is helping students become stress-free and more focused.  Oprah Winfrey aired clips of the film on her TV Movie Special:  "Oprah Visits America's Most Unusual Town."
