    Never Wasted

    I was truly impressed by the woman who sold me this at M Reyes St. Makati City around 9pm. After I bought this she said with a big smile on her face "Hay salamat may pambili na kami ng bigas" (Thank you! Finally we can buy rice!) This artificial flower made of straw and a plastic bottle reminds me that no matter how life may get so tough, there is really no excuse not to survive or make a living--the simple things in life are the things that really matters. Garbage are to be thrown but those who have the courage to pick up your mess and turn it into their own masterpiece are greater than gold.
