    High Park Fire Day 9 Sunset

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     lkschilling says after seeing this sunset as the wildfire fanned out across the foothills, she had to capture it. "It was erie, sad and magnificent all in one breath," she says. "I was saddened because I know how many family are displaced right now. It's extremely tragic to watch our mountains go up in flames. I'm a native Coloradoan and to see this happen is heartbreaking. Many friends and family members have lost their homes and have no place to go."

    It's just after 7:25 pm on Day 9 of the High Park Fire. Fort Collins is again under a cloud of smoke as 900 new evac order were issued TODAY. 95+ degree weather, high winds, low humidity. We all truly appreciate the work of so many firefighters and service men and women in these extremely dangerous conditions.
