    Photos of Toronto Radiohead stage collapse

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     GrayJones told me, 'My family was participating in a 5K run at Toronto's Downsview Park, literally on the same site as the previous day's Radiohead stage collapse. We had heard the shocking news about the collapse the day before, and were surprised that we were allowed to be so close.' '

    On Sunday, June 17th, my family was participating in a 5K run (Girls on the Run, which I was running with our 9 year old daughter) at Toronto's Downsview Park, literally on the same site as the previous day's Radiohead stage collape.  We had heard the shocking news about the collapse the day before, and were surprised that we were allowed to be so close.

     

    The police were watching the area and preventing news crews from coming in, but we had to go through it because of the race.  Amazingly, one of the guards let my wife Sherrey Lee Jones snap photos...  no one else was allowed.

     

    Not much appeared to be happening...  no investigation or any activity on the stage itself while we were there (8am-1pm on June 17th).
