CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Often frequenting Ehden Square ichalhoub captured these images on June 17 of a man selling prayer beads. "The man represents a common aspect of a group of Lebanese people who live near the shore in winter and in the mountains during the summer," he says. "Those people have a common character: robust, don't smile easily, very welcoming, and they like to share stories of their past."
    - Anika3, CNN iReport producer

Ehden – north Lebanon. Sitting in a coffee shop in Ehden square, a 75 years old man works in selling prayer beads. Everyday, he reaches for a Turkish coffee with a cigarette in his hand and his little radio playing songs of Feyrouz. He washes his head and face at the fountain of the square where the water is very cold as it flows at about 1500 meters of altitude then sits on his throne-like wooden chair sharing stories with his friends and talking to tourists about his varied collection. Photo and slideshow taken on June 17, 2012.
