    Flames' Height, High Park Fire

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     BryanFoCo of Fort Collins, Colorado, documented the High Park fire from the Horsetooth Reservoir in Larimer County. "When I saw the first puffs of smoke two Saturdays ago my heart sunk because I knew there was no way they could contain it fast enough. Many people I know have been brought to tears for the people who have lost their homes, and for the destruction of so much forest." He captured these photos between June 10 and June 18.

    With all access to the fire closed off, for good reason, I had to find some unique vantage points to record this story. I found myself at eye level with the action here in the Colorado Rockies.  These photos chronicle the spreading flames and huge helicopters that fight them.
