Travel photo of the day |
Rome - Eternal City
- rachel8, CNN iReport producer
For a week I visited Rome with the metro, tram and the rickshaw. I tried to move at different times of day, "Piazza di Spagna" is always full, but you can taste it at 6 in the morning, empty in all its beauty. The monuments and archaeological sites are always accessible, always ready for any type of tourist. You can eat quietly in the courtyard of Pigna in the Vatican Museums or attempt to enter the basement of the church of San Lorenzo in Lucina. Tourists are free to move smoothly and without too many restrictions, as long as respect for the monuments.
