    What Were They Thinking?

    This is 2012, isn't it?

We are in the 21st Century, right?

How far in the past is the Montana Republican Party living?

Did not the US Supreme Court throw out sodomy laws some time ago?

Yet, today the Montana GOP is finally dropping efforts to make homosexuality a crime.

The  state party's stand against same-gender marriage is one thing, but to  try and undo 2 rulings by the Supreme Court smacks of bigotry and  ignorance.

That it took this long for the Montana GOP to get the memo is unacceptable.

If I were a Republican, I would seriously consider becoming what I am an independent moderate.

For  a state party to be this delusional to think that who one is attracted  and actions between loving, consenting adults are subject to  criminalization goes even beyond what I believe is the over-reach of  President Barack Obama, whose Administration is guilty of many cases of  over-steppng constitutional boundaries.

Come on Montana Republicans, join the 21st Century!

Come into the light and out of the dark.

From  the Cornfield, bigotry in any form by anyone must be confronted.  Society must not tolerate bigots if it is to remain viable.
