    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DiegoArroyo says he went to Kenya with the idea of depicting the beauty of the country and its people. "Approaching a different culture is always challenging and enriching, but Kenya seemed so impressive to my eyes, that I couldn’t really stop taking pictures," he says. " The experience was amazingly touching. I felt inspired in many ways by the authenticity of its people." His zebra portrait was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for July 10, 2012. Please note: Photoshop color corrections were applied to achieve these final images.

    A year ago I had the opportunity to spend a little time with the Samburu people in Kenya. As a result I made a collection of photographs that depict their way of living.
