    Solstice in Times Square: Athleta Mind Over Madness Yoga

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Living in New York, aherman00 says the Solstice in Time Square was a very unique way for people to come together, relax, network and enjoy the day. "People were excited to be there and extremely friendly. Even through the smoldering heat people went through the various poses and showcased their various yoga techniques," he says. "It was just amazing to see so many people doing yoga at once and this event was such a wonderful blend of the best things NY has to offer. Seeing how many people came out and showcased their love for yoga and their talents were truly amazing."

    Thousands of yoga enthusiasts celebrated the longest day of the year (June 20th) with an all day yoga fest. They came together in middle of Times Square for the largest yoga
    class in NYC. Individuals showcased their favorite yoga poses and shared techniques for healthy living.
