Fast and Furious: An Attempt to Undermine Obama's Bin Laden Capture, Derail Re-Election

The drama surrounding Fast and Furious may be a calculated effort by right wing radicals to erase Obama's success as Commander in Chief in the apprehension of Osama Bin Laden. A black non-veteran law professor wasn't supposed to be a good military strategist and he has proven to be a very effective one, neutralizing most if not all Al Queda top leaders by covert operations and drone attacks. There is also an unstated yet very palpable racial hatred in the radical right for Obama. They have tried to prey upon people's lack of faith in black leaders---Holder, included--and, as a black friend of mine today argued, blacks weren't supposed to make for good quarterbacks in football, but the likes of Moon, Cunningham and Vick thoroughly exploded that myth, as has been the right's racist views about black presidents of the United States.
