My whole family came to this country from England and even though we, like all immigrants, cherish our homeland and culture from wherever we came from, we love this country and what it allows us to be and do. America gives the immigrant (we came legally like most, waiting our turn in line) to be whatever you dream to be. We don't envy wealth as we know we too with hard work, ambition, gumption and willpower we can make our lives what we hope for. We don't take the country for granted, and we believe we owe our thanks to this great country. We didn't want handouts, we wanted a chance and it is that chance given to immigrants before us that built the wealth of this country. The original Americans built this country on hope and dreams of a better life, sadly in the past it was like what the world did all over, dominated the original Native American. We owe to the Native American to keep this country free and beautiful. We must clean up the pollution and destruction we did to their land and stop taking it for granted.
