Evening Family Fun in Danforth
A friend from down the street has a great way to commune with her son and neighborhood parents and children.
She hosts a campfire at her house on pleasant nights, and everyone sits around, chats, cooks marshmallows and hot dogs, or even a steak.
No alcohol or drugs are allowed, and the local minister, who lives next door, sometimes stops by to enjoy the good cheer.
My friend is also a member of the Danforth Fire Department, and here we are, at the end of a pleasant evening, putting out the fire.
She always has a bucket of water sitting next to the fire, within easy reach, so the fire is completely extinguished when they are ready to decamp, and go back in the house.
I think my friend knows how to enjoy summer life in Danforth, Maine.
