    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jfran175 says she took those photos during her five-day trip in China in April 2012. Her most unforgettable moments include ‘trying foods there that I never thought I would’ at Donghuamen night market and climbing the Mutianyu Great Wall.

    These photos were taken from the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China. It is located about two hours outside of Beijing. Aside from the cable car ride up and toboggan ride down, it is relatively less touristic than other sections of the wall. It can be quite a work out getting to the top, but the awe-inspiring view is worth it - just wear comfortable shoes!
