    Waldo Canyon Fire

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     photoman57 told me, 'It's possible that my parents house is gone now, and my brother and his wife have been evacuated. There are so many of homes on fire now, I have never seen anything like this and I hope I never do again. It's been called the war zone and it looks like one too.'
    - hhanks, CNN iReport producer

Just west of Colorado Springs, the Waldo Canyon fire has been burning since June 23rd. The smoke is very thick at times and is 5% contained after 4 days. The Firefighters are doing a great job trying to extinguish this fire. There are no reports of how this fire started but many officials say it's possible Arson. This has not been confirmed. There are fire tankers and water dropping helicopters in the air. The fire seems to be out of control today. Some residents have been evacuated. The whole town of Manitou Springs was evacuated and have now been allowed to go home
