    Flatirons Fire in Boulder

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jjagogo photographed the Flagstaff fire from the third floor of a roof deck in Boulder, Colorado. Although his residence in Boulder was not evacuated, he reports there were pre-evacuation notices for communities located directly west of the fire. "It's been crazy hot and there hasn't been much humidity. Everybody's worried that this is not going to be the last fire in this area." The photographs were captured on June 26.     Flames can now be seen from Boulder. These photos were taken from a third story roof deck on the Pearl St. Mall in Boulder Colorado. The temperatures have been in the hundreds for the last few days and humidity levels in the low 10s. A dry thunderstorm moved through the area around 1pm and most likely sparked the fire. I could see lightning striking this area as I was diving in Boulder around the time of the fast moving storm. There were only a few drops of rain generated by the storm.
