Sunset Amidst the Wildfires
This Rocky Mountain sunset was shrouded by a huge volume of smoke that fills the air between Ft. Collins, Colorado and Boulder, CO. All along the front range of the Rocky Mountains, firefighters battle and U.S. Forest Service personnel battle the blazes on both the ground and from the air. One-half of the nations aircraft used to fight wildfires is currently in Colorado.
Just today another wildfire broke out near Boulder forcing the evacuation of nearly 200 people. The people of Colorado continue to band together in support of those who have been displaced by the large number of wildfires. People from all over the state are donating clothing, food, toiletries and money to help sustain those in need.
