Supreme Court Healthcare Decision June 28, 2012

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     AW2010 Ireporter AW2010, a Washington DC resident, went down to the Supreme Court today to witness the crowds as they responded to the court's landmark decision on healthcare reform. "Regardless of whether you agree with the decision, it's exciting that we have a system that is respectful," she told CNN. "We're a nation of laws and that's what I appreciate about the US."
    - sarahbrowngb, CNN iReport producer

A sea of people, including a full court press, turned out this morning for the Supreme Court's decision on the Affordable Care Act, (#7,#9). Under a hot summer sun, reporters perused the decision on the spot, (#8).

Some people protested, while others sang and prayed, (#1 - #6). The crowd, lined on both sides of First Street, SE, between the U.S. Capitol and the Supreme Court, erupted with applause upon hearing the decision to uphold the law, (#10 video).

As some experts have said, this Supreme Court decision will be among the biggest ones in our nation’s history.
