Are you living without health insurance? |
I'm surprised at the SCOTUS ruling on health care.
Single payer health insurance is a better way to go. It eliminates profit from the equation. I don't like insurance companies making billions off of our health care system.
I'm lucky that my state has a good subsidized program although it is constantly being threaten with cuts. I am currently paying $30/mo for my college enrolled son and me. My 24 year old son is uninsured. He is about to go on a cross country trip. I guess he's an outlaw since he is uninsured. Will they make him show his medical card if he is detained by police for something? I wonder.
I am surprised at this ruling. I really didn't think that the court would allow the mandate. But I guess some see the serious implications if it was overruled. They avoided a train wreck.
Now lets redesign the train.
Thanks for reading!
