    Ash Creek Fire, Montana

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jyngbr70 documented the Ash Creek wildfire consuming southeastern Montana's Northern Cheyenne Reservation on June 28. He says a combination of dry brush and lightning was likely the cause of the fire. "There are a number of families who have been displaced and about 32 houses have been destroyed," he says. "It's really devastating."

    A wildfire that has scorched more then 110,700 acres in eastern Montana and reportedly distroyed over 30 homes is still raging.

    The "Chain Up Area" on US HWY 212 became an unexpected front this afternoon apparently burning one structure and threatening others in the immediate area.
