    Lake Khuvsgul, northern Mongolia

From Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, my daughter Ysabelle and I flew to Moron, in northern Mongolia. From there, it was a big bumpy ride to the Khuvsgul Nuur National Park, but there was so much incredible beauty to see, the bumpiness just added to the adventure. Magical Lake Khuvsgul, Dalai Eej or Mother Ocean, the source of 1%-2% of the world's fresh water supply, lies in wait for you, to dazzle your eyes, to refresh your mind, to take away your troubles, to calm your soul.
