Rain and Sunshine. Can't Complain.
Well, it rained liked cats, dogs and mother-in-laws here today. But the sun kept breaking out and it was quite the contrast. I didn't think my garden would weather so well with the heavy downpours but I just went out and everything looks great in my garden and yard. It's incredibly beautiful outside right now at 7pm. It's about 66 degrees out, calm and sunny. A few clouds and mostly blue sky. Couldn't ask for better weather.
I was supposed to go to a 4th of July shin-dig at China Bend winery on the Columbia River, but the weather and ambivalence prevented me from going. That's okay. My son and I visited all day during the rain before he hitched-hiked to Spokane. He is off on a cross-country train-hopping adventure with his girlfriend and his dog. It may be the last I see of him for a very, very long time.
I went out and took some shots of my yellow plum tree, my yard and garden after the storms had all passed.
To all who are suffering with the heat and humidity, I send my perfect weather your way. May it arrive swiftly. :)
Enjoy my flowers, fruit and greenery as much as I do. There were more but I'm limited to 10 pics.
