Can America Stop The Bullying In Schools?
Hello my name is Byron Thomas. I want you to listen to her story about getting bullied in school. I hope if you are being bullied or have been bullied you stay strong and know that people love you and most importantly Jesus Loves YOU. If you are a bully, I hope you can grow up and stop being mean to people who might kill themselves over you harassing them. I remember a mentally challenged kid was in a class of mine. I have no clue why they didn’t have a teacher around to protect him, but they didn’t. One day we had a substitute teacher and that day changed my life. People in my class started throwing paper at the child, because he was different and he would get mad and yell easily. He would yell for people to stop and the kids would just keep laughing and throwing more paper at him, aiming for his face and glasses. The substitute teacher didn’t know what was going on. I sat there and did nothing to stop it. I think about it a lot, because I didn’t stand up for a helpless student. I pride myself on helping and always befriending anyone, but that one situation I did nothing. It tears me up, but I learned from it and it never happened in front of me again. (Please don’t get mad in attack me because I put my popularity over protecting someone. I was young, still growing, and learning; but like I said it never will happen again around me). All I can do is say sorry that I didn’t protect someone’s baby from getting attacked just because he was different from the rest of us students. This is serious and our country needs to do a better job of stopping bullies and saving kids from committing suicide. The bullying in schools is just getting worst. Let’s ban together America, because enough is enough. Kill people With Kindness and May God Bless America
