A Journey To The Center Of Alaa Wardi's Work

Each person is a walking song. Our heartbeat, our breath, our laugh, our yells and screams all together tells a story that differs from person to person yet we can all relate to. That is why music has no race or religion, no age nor job. It is a universal house and anybody is invited inside. So wipe your feet and enter our house of spiritual communication and language and forget about everything for one second and let us take you on a journey. (Sarah Salah)-From Alaa Wardi's Bio on REVERBNATION

Alaa Wardi is an Iranian music and sound engineer born and raised in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he has residence. When presented to his work we immediately find he is not a conventional artist. He is an one man show that does more than an Orchestra, a perfect visual art harmony, simple presentations in an complex wholeness.

I find from time to time valuable jewelry in world music sometimes this treasures are more than established names but there is something about this proven or rookie Electro-World, Folk, Rock, Punk performers they give you as much attention than you give to them, in other words, they don't have an whole bunch of people working on there "social navels" and according to the audience, they give as much attention to fans as they receive from.
With Alaa Wardi's "Shalamonti Fel7al" works as well in music support as in video but he is a new media guy that has perfect mastery of the new media and the tradicional ways of making music (If ever those have been separated...)and his own techniques in "Wenti Mastaneti" an acoustic set of mirrors where he goes beyond any convention asserting itself as single, unparalleled and exceptional artist.
These are the modern days art teachers, people we adopt-from scratch acquired almost through osmosis -and maybe that's why there are on a daily basis someone showing up like this exceptionally teaching us How To.
