    Macy's Fireworks on the Hudsn

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Not wanting to get caught up in crazy traffic this year, RVCFOTO says she celebrated the Fourth of July from the comfort of her own home. "I was not around a crowd this year but I was surprised to be able to see the festivities from my window," she says. Adding that her apartment faces the Hudson. "I had the TV on so I could hear the music as I was taking the photos of the Macy's fireworks show. This was a great way to end the 4th of July holiday."

    Once again this year the Macy's 4th of July fireworks was on the Hudson River. New Jersey had a prime view of the festivities.

    The show was able to be seen up the Hudson all the way to the Bronx with views of the Manhattan skyline and the George Washington Bridge with the fireworks in the background.
