    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     HibMN of Minnesota says she was inspired by her grandmother to start growing her own food. She photographed her newly seeded onions, basil and parsley. Visit her iReport page to see photos of these vegetables fully ripened and ready to be made into a fresh, homegrown dish.

    I have no room in my yard for gardenning. My neighbor lets me use his garden box. He likes the sweet cherry tomatoes and onions, so its a win- win for both families!
    Every year I plant onions and tomatoes and some herbs. This year for the first time I planted Detroit red beets and couple cucumber seedlings.
    I have planted greenGypsy peppers, Sweet Cajun Bell red peppers and Hungarian wax pepper.(yellow)

     

    My tomatoes are:
    Sweet million
    Super sweet 100
    Big Beef tomato

     

    My herbs;
    Basil
    Moss curled double parsley

     

    I enjoy gardening because it helps me relax. I check my veggies and flowers everymorning I love watching them grow.
    We eat alot of salad and herbs. Its much cheaper to grow our own tomatoes and herbs.
