Small Town America: Life Goes On Despite the Economy
As I stopped at the Post Office this afternoon, I noticed a Car Show happening right around the corner. There was quite the assortment of vintage cars on display.
The weather is heating up, finally, in NE Washington State. It got up into the 80s today. The forecast is for 90's tomorrow and all next week. Oh boy.
On my way home, I passed a big group of Canadians camping out in the park a block from my house. They are here for the annual swim meet between Colville and Canadian swimmers. Maybe I'll wander over tomorrow and grill them about their environmental crimes. haha
Despite a failing economy, life seems to go on as normal around these parts. I hope it continues because I kind of like it.
