    Finally Rain in Colorado

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     revloc was standing on the backyard balcony of his home in Castle Rock, Colorado, when he documented a long-awaited rainfall and hailstorm. His property is located 30 miles north of the Waldo Canyon fire, and he says the precipitation helped reduce the threat of more wildfires. The video was captured on July 6.
    - stein0726, CNN iReport producer

I live about 30 miles north of the Waldo Canyon fire in Colorado Springs. My property has been tinder dry. The grass outside my sprinkler area is dead and brown. Today we got a combination heavy rain and hail storm that lasted about an hour and dropped approximately 2 inches of rain. We really needed this precipitation in Colorado.
Now another storm cell has come overhead (about an hour after the 1st storm cell) and we're getting even more rain.
