    Fireworks over Lake Loveland, CO

Despite a ban on fireworks displays throughout most of Colorado, in the beautiful Front Range town of Loveland CO which is located at the foot of The Rocky Mountain National Park, the show went on as planed.
Those folks living in close by Colorado communities where the fireworks shows had been cancelled, began desending on the town of Loveland early in the morning before the show, staking out their claims of seating real estate around the perimeter of Lake Loveland.
"I've never seen that many people at a fireworks show before" says this author and photographer. "I didn't want anything to do with that big of a crowd and so decided to shoot these photos from higher up in the Foothills area of Loveland about five miles from the lake itself". "ENJOY"
