    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JannetWalsh says because of the Internet, she can connect to people from rural areas like a cornfield in Murdock, Minnesota.

    Jannet Walsh, iReporter from Murdock, Minn., is outstanding in a corn field at her family's farm in Dublin Township.

     

    Since Jannet has connected to the internet in rural Minnesota after she moved home to Minn., in 2010, she has connected around the world via Skype, posting iReports, talked live on HLN, a guest on the HLN Clark Howard Show, and more, all possible because of the internet.

     

    The world is made smaller with an internet connection.
