How will I get Paid from VRAP?
VRAP (Veterans Retraining Assistance Program) is a new program offered to Veterans by the VA (Veterans Affairs) and DOL (Department of Labor). If I understand clearly, this is designed as an extension to unemployment and to insure a certain veterans group has an income while they prepare for employment in a high demand job
The course I enrolled in is Accounting Applications takes about 10 months to complete. Classes start 27 Aug 2012. It consists of 27 semester hours. I completed 15 semester hours already and have 12 semester hours to go. Therefore the first semester I will only take 2 classes and the second semester will be 2 classes.
How will I get paid? Do I get 8 months at $1,473 or part time because I am advanced in this program?
