Local Coordination Committees in Syria
The number of Syrian martyrs has risen 24 so far. 13 martyrs were reported in Idlib, 3 in Lattakia, 3 in Aleppo, 2 in Damascus Suburbs, 1 in Swaida, 1 in Deir Ezzor, and 1 in Homs
Daraa: : Clashes between the regime's army and defected soldiers after new units entered to enhance the border points
Swaida: clashes between demonstrators and the regime forces after a demonstration started in the city center condemning bombing yesterday, and demands to bring down the regime, and a number of arrests amid demonstrators
Aleppo: Izaz: Two martyrs and a number of wounded fell from fierce artillery shelling in the city using tanks and helicopters
Idlib: Tah: Fierce rocket-shelling in the town
Homs: Qusair: heavy bombardment by rocket launchers on the city and three houses were destroyed so far
Deir Ezzor: heavy artillery bombardment from Altalaúaa camp on the neighborhoods of the city
Homs: Fierce shelling using vertical flight at Hamraa neighborhood
Homs: Massive military reinforcements from several locations head towards of the neighborhoods of Joorat Al-Shayah and Qarabees. This occurs as the neighborhoods are being shelled with all types of heavy weapons and snipers and machine guns stationed on Gardenia tower open fire on anything that moves. Most buildings in these neighborhoods have collapsed due to the intense shelling
Aleppo: Izaz: Fierce shelling using warplanes for the fifth day in a row, and fierce clashes between the Free Syrian Army and regime's army
University of Hama: the regime army storms the College of Veterinary Medicine and waging a campaign of arbitrary arrests affected many students
Homs: Massive military reinforcements from several locations head towards of the neighborhoods of Joorat Al-Shayah and Qarabees. This occurs as the neighborhoods are being shelled with all types of heavy weapons and snipers and machine guns stationed on Gardenia tower open fire on anything that moves. Most buildings in these neighborhoods have collapsed due to the intense shelling
Idlib: Habeet: Several were injured in the indiscriminate shelling of the town from the regime's army's checkpoint at Salam Gas station
Damascus: Qaboun: Clashes between the Free Syrian Army and the regime's army using medium-grade weapons in the vicinity of the neighborhood and from the directon of Khamsiya (Quintet) Company
Shield: Kafrschms: the regime Army storms the city and breaks down the shops and the homes of activists and also burns their homes
Homs: Intense artillery shelling on the neighborhoods of Khalidiya, Karam Shamsham, and Joorat Al-Shayah at a rate of 3 shells per minutes, 40 shells have fallen thus far
Deir Ezzor: Mowathafien Neighborhood: Several shells fell in the neighborhood
Hama: Sahl Ghab: Qastoun: Storming the village using tanks was reported amid intense gunfire and flight of military helicopters
Deir Ezzor: Qosour neighborhood: Intense gunfire from tanks' machine guns was reported, and artillery shelling at the citizens houses
Hama: : Intense artillery shelling of the city as three shells fall on the city until the moment and a state of panic spreads amongst residents
Damascus Suburbs: Kanaker: The regime's army storms the town with a large number of soldiers amid residents' fears of an impending massacre
Homs: Shelling of Khalidiya neighborhood with mortars resulted in large explosions which shook the neighborhood
Idlib: Khan Sheikhoun: Intense shelling with tanks and warplanes of the city since the early morning
