    Mexico City Implements System of Eco-Bikes

    Found in several points throughout the city, the bikes can be used by anyone. All that is needed is a card. After registering online at ecobici.df.gob.mx one can pick up a card at any of the offices. The bycicles can then be "borrowed" for thirty minutes and then returned at any other borrowing point around the city. The objective is not exactly for recreation, though many people use them for just that, but pure transportation. The creators had the working public in mind. A person in need of travelling from or to their office can use different bycicles from different points throughout the city, thus exchanging the bikes as the day goes by. The system is now a success and it is taking Mexico City to a greener future.
