True Love?
I was born and raised on films. I've loved movies since as far back as I can remember. When I was in high school a friend of mine gave me Dirty Dancing as a Christmas gift. As more of an Oliver Stone fan at the time, I never thought I'd ever have an interest in a love story. I was wrong. Dirty Dancing not only became one of my favorite films, but the love scene in which "Cry to me" by Solomon Burke is playing in the background is my all time favorite "Love Scene." In a time where facebook, twitter, and social media has changed the face of "connecting" and "falling in love" my question for Ms. Grey is this; Did you believe in the type of love so successfully portrayed between your character and Mr. Swayze’s when shooting Dirty Dancing? If so do you still believe in it now? And on a much more personal note, have you ever experienced that kind of love in your own life? I thank you for your time, and for leaving the world with one of the most beautiful and memorable love stories of all time.
