    What is a Panterragaff?

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter seeitnow, a freelance videographer in Vancouver, British Columbia, says the booths at the Vancouver Mini Maker Faire in June were all so quirky, 'I wanted to film every single one.' He was particularly amused by the knot-tying group. 'It's just so bizarre that they spend their entire hobby life to devising new knots.'

seeitnow brought some of his film and video students from the Pacific Audio-Visual Institute to help with camera work.

A Panterragaff is the World's first walking bicycle, and trust me it is odd! If you like odd (and come on who doesn't) then this is the place to get your odd on! Did your parents tell you not to play with fire? Not here at the Maker Faire. This is a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the Maker movement. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. Makers range from "way out there" tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors, and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds. Maker Faire’s mission is to entertain, inform, connect, and inspire these thousands of Makers and aspiring Makers.

My favourite quote had to be at the knot tying guild booth when I asked if she had tied the knot? Answer: Both

Did you like this show? Great news there's probably a Maker's Faire near you. The big one is in New York every year, I'm packing my bags now!
