    Why the Internet Rocks

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     hnhjones, a former contestant on 'America's Next Top Model,' says she was 8 or 9 years old when she started playing games on the Internet, and 'in the 4th grade, I remember caring for my first virtual pet.'

    Today, she says, 'Hopefully, we continue to respect this gift the World Wide Web offers. It is our most valuable resource for information and communication. I hope we can recognize what the internet signifies. It is a neutral space for us to resolve issues and concerns through out the planet as one, united force.'

    The world wide web has expanded our ability to learn, grow and connect. This is a free form of global expression, without which, we could not be united globally. Interacting with others online, whether it is your family, friends, or colleagues has given us the opportunity to realize more about our similarities and better understand our differences.

    We all come from our own unique perspectives, the internet allows us to share them.
