This iReport is part of an assignment:
Because of the Internet... |
Because of the internet...I became a better person
- Jareen, CNN iReport producer
Because of the internet I can open millions of windows into the endless highway of a virtual world and behind every new window is another exciting one is hiding. It is like I could look with millions of eyes to see all the knowledge human gathered, to learn, to discover to connect with every levels of the collective mind, It is like I could listen with millions of ears to understand even the furthest away whispering of the Universe or a concern of a homeless child. The internet gives us endless information, changes our views and widens our horizon. We use it for every day’s life or to safe lives in emergencies. As the internet grew it became the most important part in everybody’s life. It keeps communications open even to the parts of the World where it is hard to communicate and Freedom is not a common word. It gives us countless opportunities as it enabled me to open my own e- commerce business as well, to promote my books or be part of a virtual meeting of the other side of the Planet. I can fight against slavery and for Freedom of speech. The internet supports also Peace around the World and brings nations together, because we learn through the internet about each other cultures and religions and then we can reach out to each other in goodwill and hopefully the new generations will not anymore need wars, because they will learn that we should not hate each other but work with each other for a better future. Because of the internet I am also blessed with wonderful friendships around the Globe, mainly through iReport which made me to a better human being. Thank You:PuakeaJutka
