Salman to visit Pakistan!
A worry well-founded, thinks director Kabir Khan. “It's disturbing for Ek Tha Tiger to be perceived as an anti-Pakistan film,” says the director, “But it isn't surprising. Look at the cheap jingoistic anti-Pakistan films that have released over the years. We can't really blame them if they perceive Ek Tha Tiger as one such film."
So the director and actor Salman Khan have decided to make a trip to the neighbouring country, so that they can gauge reactions to their film there. It'll be a first for both. "Neither Salman nor I have ever visited Pakistan. So why not? We are willing to do anything that's required to make Pakistanis believe that our project is not against them. I don't think the trailer being banned is a big deal. Once the film releases, the truth will be out."
The Pakistani organisation does not want the film to tarnish the image of the country's intelligence agency.
Well, we hope the film takes care of all sentiments involved!
