This iReport is part of an assignment:
Calling all Clinton supporters |
Obama = Clinton
Sen. Clinton has been an excellent advocate for her constituents in New York (of which I am one). and as a lifelong Democrat I have always had a great deal of adulation for her and her husband's public service. In the primary I was a vocal Hillary supporter.
Now that she's out and Barack is the nominee I can't fathom why any former supporter of Sen. Clinton would even consider a McCain-Palin vote.
Palin, sir, is no Senator Clinton. Female sex organs does not a qualified leader make. I understand the discontent among my fellow Clintonites, but voting for Sen. Obama in the general is no knock to our girl. The real indignity would be to elect McCain-Palin out of little more than vengeance.
How can we support a ticket that stands on the wrong side of every issue Sen. Clinton has spent her life fighting for?
Obama 2008--no brainer.
