    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     lewisdemesa traveled about 200 miles to capture this photo in Abu Dhabi. He says this photo is part of a time-lapse project he is currently working on. The image was featured as CNN's Travel Photo of the Day for March 20, 2013.

    Finding the darkest place in the UAE was not an easy task, as some astronomers consider the city of Dubai as the most light polluted city on earth.
    I had to travel south west of Abu Dhabi to capture this Milky Way Galaxy, and even in this part of the country, a glowing light coming from an oilfield are pretty much visible.
