It was somewhere in the year 2008 around September or October, I and my friend went on a conducted tour to Egypt, Everything was nice once we landed in Egypt, we enjoyed all the beautiful sights, pyramids, Egyptian Mummies shopping etc., and the vast desserts, we also went down the Nile on a cruise, and that is where some trouble started to brew between the tour guide and two of our fellow passengers, when the tour guide told us that we had to pay extra on another trip elsewhere  one lady got angry and said that this was not told before we came on the trip.,neither was it mentioned on the itinary I remember we were having breakfast on the cruise ship down the Nile and the who day was spoilt as the group got divided cos of this terrible row, and my friend and I were caught in the cross fire, as we two decided to  pay while the rest of the crew were not in favour of it, and the rest of the group were mad at us for doing so, actually my frined and I took the side of the Tour guide, cos what else was there to be done and we anyway wanted to see the rest of the sights.  So we were sort of separated from the whole group until we reached our home country, and no one spoke a word even coming back on the flight, it was a jolly group that set out on the trip, but not so jolly on the return trip back to Sri Lanka.

But the photographs that I took will be memorable behind the not so pleasant row that some of our fellow passengers had had with the Tour guide.  But anyway my friend and I had each other, so it was not all that much of big deal for the two of us as it was for the rest of  our fellow group members.
