    Lightning storm in ATL.

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     leotrevino captured this photo just outside The Varsity in Atlanta, GA on July 9. "My two friends and I had just got done eating and we had been watching the lightning storm from inside. We decided to see if we could catch some lightning and with enough time and luck, I did," he says. "It was pretty amazing. I was a bit nervous, but I had a chance to get an image that not many people get to make so I was excited I caught it."

    Two buddies and myself thought it would be a cool idea to road trip from Alaska to Tampa, FL and stay a few days in our favorite city, Atlanta, GA. We get there and there's nothing but storms, just our luck! Made for an amazing photo op as we stood in the rain outside of The Varsity.
