    ADVENTURES AT COMIC-CON

Once again it's that time of the year when the pilgrimage to one of the greatest Pop Cultural Phenomenons in world history takes place. People travel from all over the World to share their love for everything from Comic Books for which the convention was original created to the newest and hottest games, movies and if they are lucky an opportunity to be in the presence of one of their movie idols. It's also a great opportunity for aspiring Artists and Writers to be exposed to a wide variety of potential Employers. Perhaps I'm engaging in a bit of hyperbole but to those who attend the annual event the San Diego Comic-Con can truly be compared to a life altering visit to a the Vatican, Mecca or in the case of many the World Cup, World Series or even the Super Bowl. On the downside it does cost a lot to attend and over the years it has grown so large that even the San Diego Convention Center which is by no means small has had to limit the amount of attendees. With that said even with all the chaos it's still something that should not be missed. I hope everyone has a safe and creative weekend and although I couldn't afford to get there myself I'd really appreciate it if someone would at least get me a bag of the free stuff. I'll trade you for an original Cartoon if you do. Seriously. Maybe someday I'll have my own booth. Until then here's what it might look like. Enjoy and be safe.
