NAACP Closing Dinner In Houston Texas
Tonight I was honored to attend the NAACP closing dinner with the Harris County Democratic Chairman Lane Lewis, Judges Al Bennet, Alexandra Smoots-Hogan, Jaclanel McFarland, Maria T. Jackson, & Hazel Jones and political activists Almeda & Verge. Actress Viola Davis was the featured speaker of the dinner. It was great seeing many of the older civil rights leaders. I took a picture with Julian Bond, one of my heroes from the MLK days.
