    Thousands protest in Tahrir square

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     arasquare says the military has ruled Egypt for sixty years and they are not ready to leave power. He says the military has sweeping power throughout the country and the economy. The Supreme Council of Armed Forces limited powers to the president, and many Egyptians took to the streets to protest, chanting "Say it loudly. Don't be afraid. The military must go," he says. 'I think the new president will try to assume full presidential powers,' he says.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Thousands protested in Tahrir square on Friday, July 13, against the Complementary constitutional declaration issued by the Supreme Council of Armed Forces, known as SCAF, limiting the new president's powers and granting itself sweeping legislative and executive powers. Protesters chanted against the military rule and the constitutional court that froze the president's decree to reinstate the dissolved parliament. The participants were mainly the Muslim Brotherhood and the 6th of April Youth Movement.
