    Freedom is pending in Egypt

    Freedom is pending in Egypt

This is story of my brother Islam Amin he is 26, he is a free lance film and i would sharing his story with the world because i am proud of him.

The story starts on 12 July 2012 he went to do a civil awareness protest in Rabaa Al Adawiya, in the Nasr City district of Cairo. Aimed to increase awareness on the new Egyptian Constitution being written
and the body tasked with writing the country’s next Constitution and how this body should be represent full Egypt and not just the selected few of the army and Muslim brother hood

Although Egypt is Free from the Tyrant Egyptian X president Hosni Mubarak, Unfortunately his regime is still prevailing through the military council.

Islam Amin was kidnapped on on 12 July 2012 and as i heard from his friends and according to amnesty international "At around 11pm men in plain clothes disrupted the protest, reportedly attacking protesters and wounding at least one with a bladed weapon. As protestors began to disperse, they reportedly saw Mohamed Masoud being arrested by men in plain clothes, believed to be security officers. The friends and family of Islam Amin and Karim Al Kenany were unable to reach them on their mobile phones and so became concerned.
During the next three hours, an ESDP lawyer visited two police stations in Nasr City attempting to locate the activists. Enquiring at S28, a military area in Nasr City (previously employed by the military forces to detain protesters) a military officer denied the men were there, yet minutes later the lawyer saw the three activists being driven away in an open-backed vehicle surrounded by what appeared to be security officers in plain clothes. The head of Egypt’s military police has since told the lawyer that the men have been taken to the Military Prosecution." http://www.amnesty.org/en/library/asset/MDE12/024/2012/en/0a02d3df-a8db-421b-8b21-205b877a8c72/mde120242012en.pdf.

The revolution picture of 2011 looks very hazy in my and family eyes. Although i believe in Islam's eyes, soul and his friends it pretty clear.

As Islam and his friends are pending their release from the military court, Egypt is awaiting its freedom from the old regime.
