    Pope visit

     

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     When Pope Benedict XVI celebrated mass in the small town of Frascati, south of Rome, iReporter sandrocap had a prime spot to take pictures of the occasion. "It was a sunny day with perfect weather!" he said. It was the first visit by the Pope to the town, where his predecessor, John Paul II, had said mass 32 years before him.

    The Pope, Benedict XVI's visit to the small community of Frascati (near Rome, Italy) was an opportunity for a behind the scenes view.
    After 32 years (it was Pope John Paul II in 1982), a Pope, celebrated Holy mass in the ancient Tusculan diocese, for the Holy Father arrived in Frascati by car from the nearby Castel Gandolfo, where he is spending the usual period of rest, have gathered at least 5000 faithful
