    Baby misses her Daddy

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     lchri10 is a part-time contract specialist for the U.S. Air Force and full-time mom whose husband is currently deployed. Her ten-month-old daughter, Savannah, was photographed leaning against and touching a picture of her father. “My eyes immediately filled with tears. She's so young and doesn't understand why her daddy's gone, but she still gets so excited just to see his picture,” says lchri10.

    My husband is currently deployed. Two weeks after he left my daughter, Savannah, 10 months at the time, was at the Air Force Base Daycare and her caregiver was hanging up a picture of her and my husband. My daughter crawled over to the picture started clapping her hands and cooing. Once the caregiver finished, my daughter went right up to the picture and kissed it. The caregiver just happened to have her camera handy and captured this touching moment. It breaks heart to see how much she misses him, but we know he's serving our country. We do Skype a few times a week and she gets just as excited to see him. We miss you Sweets!
